Diane Jester Pringle

Diane Victoria “Lady Di” Pringle, was born on March 19, 1942, in Atlanta, Georgia to the union of Anne L. Jester Crawford and Posey Jester. She departed this life on August 4, 2025.
Diane attended South Atlanta City School and was a proud graduate of Henry McNeal Turner High School in Atlanta, Georgia. She went on to further her education at Morris Brown College. Additionally, she attended Atlanta Area Technical School, where she studied Secretarial Science.
Diane worked for many years in the Atlanta Public School System, where she served as both a paraprofessional and a school secretary. She was a diligent and committed employee.
A woman with strong spiritual conviction and unwavering dedication to her church community, Diane was a faithful member of Providence Baptist Church in Atlanta. She served with distinction as a member of Usher Board #2, sang joyfully in the choir, and held a cherished place on the Mother’s Board. Diane was a true student of the word as evidenced by her weekly attendance at Sunday School. Her consistent presence and active participation were hallmarks of her spiritual life.
Diane found joy in line dancing and traveling, always embracing opportunities to connect with others. Shopping was one of her favorite pastimes. She also enjoyed playing cards as a social activity and spent many fulfilling hours at the Emma Darnell Senior Citizen Center engaging with her community.
Diane and Willie E. Pringle were joined in matrimony on March 2, 1973. They were married for 53 years. She leaves to cherish her memory her loving husband Willie E. Pringle, two devoted daughters Mrs. Yasmin “Gigi” (Anthony) Redding of Fairport, New York and Kimberley (Collier, Sr.) Johnson of Atlanta, Georgia; grandchildren, Jamal and Brittany Redding and Courtney(Justin) Shelf, Christopher and Collier Johnson, II; four beloved great-grandchildren, Cameron and Carter Shelf and Jaxon and Noelle Redding and a host of cousins and friends.

May her memory bring comfort to those who knew and loved her.
