Irene Smith

Irene, better known as Big Ma, was born on December 17th, 1943 in Atlanta, GA to Mary Stubbs, who raised her with endless love and care. From a young age, she had a warm heart, a joyful spirit, and a smile that could brighten any room.Throughout her life, Irene was known for her loving heart, strength, wisdom, and unwavering devotion to her family.
Irene loved to garden, cook, and watch home improvement shows on HGTV. She also loved Sudoku and Word search puzzles. But most of all, she loved spending time with her family. No matter what she was doing, she always brought joy and love to those around her. Her compassion, laughter, and strength will always be remembered.
She is survived by her husband Nate Smarr, her daughter Cassandra Smith, her Grandchildren: Robert & Dwinishia Smith, Eric Smith, Takeyia Way, Calisha Thomas, Renardo Thomas, Valencia Banks, Syree Banks, Jasmine Ford, and Martrez Ford. She also has 10 great grandchildren , 3 great-great grandchildren, and many other loving
relatives and friends. Her beautiful spirit will live forever in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.
