Reverend Emory R. Searcy, Jr was born November 22, 1942, to the late Mary and Emory Searcy, Sr. He passed November 20, 2020. Celebration of life services for Rev: Searcy, Jr will begin Friday, November 27, 2020, with his Public Visitation starting at 2:00 p.m. until 6:00 pm at Goolsby Mortuary; located at 1375 Jonesboro Road, SE, Atlanta, GA 30315. Graveside Service for Rev: Searcy. Jr will be held Saturday, November 28, 2020, at 1:00 p.m. at Greenwood Cemetery located at 1173 Cascade Circle, Atlanta, GA 30311. He is survived by his loving wife of 54 years, Mrs. Rovena Searcy, son, Emory Searcy III (Angelica), sister, Patricia Searcy Greathouse(Winston), granddaughter Chevetica, other relatives, and friends. Please assemble at the cemetery 15 minutes prior to service and line up behind the hearse. Face Masks required at the funeral home and the cemetery.
