Robin R Stevenson

Robin Regina Stevenson was born on June 5, 1961, in Atlanta, Georgia.The parents of Calvin (Cartersville) and Anne (Atlanta) Ward. She was the second-oldest of four children.

She graduated from Gordon High School in Decatur, Georgia, as a member of the Class of 1979. She later attended technical school, where she studied Early Childhood Education.

Robin began her career at Sylvan Hills Learning Center, where she worked with young children and developed a deep love for caring for others. During this chapter of her life, she also formed a treasured friendship with her best friend, Deborah Fears, a bond that would remain strong throughout their lifetime.

In 1988, Robin became a mother to her daughter, Jasmine, followed by her son, Joseph, in 1994. Her children and family were her greatest priorities, and she devoted herself to providing for and supporting them.

Encouraged by her sister-in-law, Glenda Thomas, Robin pursued a career in healthcare. She completed her Medical Assistant training and began working at Kaiser Permanente as a Certified Medical Assistant. She served in Pediatrics and later in the OB/GYN department, where she dedicated many years to caring for others.

Robin was a faithful member of Providence Baptist Church for more than 40 years under the leadership of Rev. Charles Nesbitt Jr. She served in the Youth Ministry and was a member of the Mass Choir.

Robin shared a special bond with her mother and deeply cherished her family. Robin will be remembered for her faith, honesty, strength, and caring spirit. Her legacy of faith, family, love, and service will continue through everyone blessed to have known her.

She leaves to cherish her memory her beloved children, Jasmine and Joseph (Mariah); her devoted mother; her cherished granddaughters, Madison, Zuri, Ryleigh, and Blair; her siblings, Stanley, Kenny (Lisa), and Stephanie; her nieces and nephews; and a host of loving family members and friends.
